Goodbye y'all... Peters sign off post!
It is with this post that I bid many of you goodbye! I am home now, in surprisingly sunny Dublin and alas the adventure has ended. Woe is me!
However I do have about a million photos since it has been so long between posts! Get a cup of tea (or, if you're Ethna or Frances or Jeaninne, a bottle of beer!) and enjoy the show!
I guess the first thing to do is write a tearful goodbye to the aul flat that kept us warm and dry for several months. Here is the kitchen. GOODBYE KITCHEN...

Ah, the aul dining table. The place where we all tried to poison each other regularly. Except for The Healy. No-one wants to eat her cooking! Oh no wait... SHE REFUSED TO COOK! You still owe me some dinners The Healy!

This one is for the girls! Because it is where they spent all of their time outside of Neighbours, Lost, House and a variety of other tv shows. Yes, it is the bathroom! So nice yet so far away... I MISS YOU FLAT.

"Now what?" I hear you cry! Well fear not, there is more.
After leaving the flat, I got the train to Adelaide. A twelve hour journey no less! This is what the fancy carriages looked like! But don't let it fool you. I've been on Bus Eireann coaches with more style...

Goodbye Melbourne! You were good to me. Except for the Hilltop Hoods that is. I could have done without them I guess. But thanks anyways!

Ah the scenery. Yes. Twelve hours of Australian farmland! Also a bit of mountain at the end. It was AWESOME. Well, it was nice to be out of the city for a bit anyways. On to ADELAIDE!

So this is a bit of a sculpture they have around a crossroads in Adelaide. It says "The Forest of Dreams". I reckon there are maybe 50 trees in the whole area of the sculpture. I need to take sculptures less literally.

Hello Adelaide! Is there anyone there?! The short answer is no. It WAS a Sunday morning. But I maybe saw about 20 people in four hours. Still, Adelaide is a lovely city. Some might say quaint! I say restful.

Victoria Square! It had giant flags made of a million cloth birds.

So where to next? Supress those yawns, thats just rude. Next was The Indian Pacific, a train journey from Adelaide to Pert for me, but from Sydney to Perth for Rachel S! Yes, we were to spend three days together on a train without causing fatal bodily harm to each other. It certainly was a challenge!
The TRAIN!

Well would you look who it is?! Its Rachel! You have to be pretty sneaky to get a photo of Rachel. This was pretty sneaky I think!

About half way to Perth there is a tinchy town called Cook. Some of youses guyses might have heard of it! There were three whole people there when we stopped. And two prison cells... It's a small but interesting place.

Ah prison. So inhumane! So HISTORICAL.

The Nullabor Plain! Man after a few hours of this scenery even Rachel was glad to have some company. Even if that company was me! Pretty interesting for a while but then you feel like you're not getting anywhere.

Kalgoorlie Town. Believe it or not, this statue doubles as a drinking fountain! This is a mining town and they are proud of it.

So proud of it that they have a statue to sheep! Rachel liked this one particularly.

Perth! Here Rachel and Fiona hang out on a bed. Which is a sofa. Which is a bed. Pretty comfy nontheless!

WINE TOUR! I don't even like wine but this was a great day and I found out I do actually like some wines! A toast to the Australian Sun!

Ronan leads the charge in the tasting of some delicious wine! Also the eating of cheeses! What a good time.

"Peter! Have more wine!"

"I believe I will! Even if it is from a box!"
Perth is a great city, especially at night. As this picture shows. It as clean AND there is free public transport in the city. You could live like a king (or queen, Simon) there. Truly a fantastic city.

Ah Jacobs Ladder. I knew it well. Some crazy people would jog up and down many many times a day. Too many times. I could do one if I was lucky. Better than Rachel who could only do a half!

Perth was pretty ace but I got caught up doing things and not taking photos. It was great! Then meself and Rackers went to a wee island called Rottnest to chill before I headed home. Also, there were Quokkas!

What a BEACH. I said BEACH.

See the shipwreck? I had actually travelled back in time and done that. My proudest moment!

This is a Quokka. I thing they're pretty diseased looking myself, but Rachel nearly exploded with squeals whenever she saw one!
Well I guess thats it from me. Of course I have a milion more photos. Of course! But I've done enough here in my time. It has been a pleasure to make these posts for you guys to see! Keep an eye out though because there's always a chance that Miss Rachel or Miss Healy might make a post at some stage.
And to end, I give you a lighthouse. Enjoy!
