Good cop/Bad cop
A day of two sides to be sure. The pain of spending a ridiculous amount of money (again!) but the joy of knowing our tickets are now fully paid up. For the time being, its back to begging for change on street corners.
Spare change love? Also, big shout out to my fellow Tallaght Alumini (Alumiums? Aluminati's?) You know who you are, PEACE.

On Thursday 22nd September, the first meeting of the Unofficial Alumni of IT Tallaght took place. It was epic in quantities of fun and general amazingness. Admittedly, the turnout was low (6 people). On the other hand the amount of awesome in one little space was INTENSE. The attendees (in no particular ranking):
Frances (Rainbow) Downey
Caroline (Lovebug) Monks
Fergal (Dan) Walsh
Simon (Transvestite) Smyth
Jeaninnnnne (Juanine) McGuirl
And me!
Go to The Big News at Twelvty for a report from our Public Relations Officer (Rainbow).
Yep... Thats the link over there on the left... (Blog of Frances Downey)
Enjoy it!

Electric Picnic
What a weekend! Wait. Let me emphahsis. WHAT A WEEKEND!!
A few of the greats went to Laois this weekend, to Electric Picnic and it was awesome. Laois is a little strange though. The trees are in full bloom! Despite how purty these flowers are, be warned!! They attract the hugest giganticist bees and wasps I ever did see!

Before I begin, let me point something out. Amanda had my camera for a bit, here and there, and I now have some AMAZING pictures. This for example makes ne feel dizzy, it's THAT GOOD:

She also took the following two photos, of Emma Healys "rear end". WEIRD, eh?

Have any of you noticed just how long Siobhans legs are? Seriously, I'm not joking. I think she could maybe win the world record if she wanted to (but she's probably too cool for such things...). Here, have a lookise:

Isn't it nice when you can sit down with a buddy in the grass, have a tasty drink and listen to big band music? We thought so! We SURE DID! Don't they look ridiculously pretty too? Also Emma and I are pretty good friends now! Yay!

Then it was band time. And it was good. Kinda like when the big fella created stuff and the bible quoted hime as seeing things as good. Not that I'm saying that any of us are godlike (except Emma Healys ferocious strength). So the next photos are at NIGHT TIME!
Siobhan had a story to tell. Amanda and Emma were intrigued! Luckily for them, unlike some Hollywood films would have us believe, intrigue didn't lead to death! It led to smiles and giggles (as far as I remember, I was looking through a Kopparberg haze)

In the Body and Soul area there was magic and enchantment. In the form of lanterns. It was very pretty. All the girls fell in love with the stall and stole stuff. But then they felt guilty and gave it back! TEN HAIL MARYS EACH solved the problem snappish like!

There was a wickle stage in the general area and it was quite pretty. I took a photo even!

Then Amanda and Bob started to dance and the sun came out! It was strange, because it was night time. Weird. And also awesome!

Bob the Performer showed us some balancing tricks! His barman skills have really paid off! THE BALANCE, THE CONTROL, THE PRECISION!

Then we danced. Near flags. It was beautiful. I think we were dancing to the noise the flags were making in the wind. So purty.

Here is a photo of Emma being HOTT. (Two "T's" for JUSTICE)

And now I end this entry. I am tired you see! But here! I go! Into the DISTANCE!

(p.s. The Arcade Fire were the best thing I have ever seen on stage. So Awesome.)

The Pixies / The Village
What an awesome gig.
I have few photos, due to intense rocking out. Also threats against my very existence if I pointed my camera in the direction of certain "people"! I know! Can you beleive it?!
It was a warm day and the sun shone. Here Amanda, Siobhan, Blathnaid and Bob ponder Teenage Fanclub and whether they should throw rocks at them.

Frances decides to begin a protest for Liberty, Fraternity and BEER:

After the gig the true party people went to The Village, and it was exhausting but rewarding. Simon got "down" with the "hippity hoppers":

Although he was decididly drunk and apparently WE LIED TO HIM (note the reaffirming glow):

And finally I seem to have developed a new form of dyslexia. Note my gesture is backwards. Aoife was laughing AT me, not with me... :'-(

It was a great day and a great evening! Thanks peeps!
